Thanks for taking some time to view my site and getting to know a little bit more about me; what makes me tick and why I do what I do.

My name isScott Mackenzie. And I LOVE Arizona…the laid back lifestyle, the beautiful weather, gorgeous sunsets, great restaurants, desert landscapes, pine trees, the lakes, the people, and the list goes on and on. My affinity for all things Arizona got me thinking about how I could turn my love for the area and the people that make my life so wonderful and be able to give back in a way that used my talents and passion.

I have been doodling apparel ideas in our sketch books over glasses of wine for a couple of years and finally decided to take those doodles and turn them into something tangible.  What good are all these designs if they are only on paper and not out there for the world to enjoy!

I decided to create an apparel company that not only would be about my style but also allow others to share the same pride in Arizona as I have. TAHDAH!!… Phoenix Thread Company was born.

I am big on shopping with small businesses and understand that when I do, I help small family owned businesses build their dreams and achieve their goals in life.  So with that philosophy I wanted Phoenix Thread Company to have a purpose besides creating cool apparel. I wanted to “Do Something Good” with my time and talent. This became my company mission and tagline.
